ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The late R. M. "Bob" Granum, founder of Panel Processing, Inc. in 1971, was involved in the hardboard industry since 1957, holding positions in research and production as will as in top management. He was one of the nation's leading experts on the types of hardboard manufactured worldwide. During early years of the Company's existence he authored and co-authored a series of articles aimed at correcting misconceptions and answering commonly asked questions regarding hardboard. Although some of the references he made in composing these articles have become outdated, the basic information presented continues to be a valuable source of reference for industrial consumers.
